"How I Found the Hidden Science of Luck"
I love to read. In fact, if you could see the untold thousands of books in my library, you might think me crazy! But there are a couple of books that would probably jump off the shelf and run like a mouse if you came in the room.
"When I found them, well, it was like I smelled them first...it was dark, dank, and musty in the back of the old antique shop."
I felt like Indiana Jones feeling his way through a cave. The rare book dealer said, "Go ahead and sort through the boxes, but handle them carefully." Slowly, ever so slowly, I turned the yellowed pages as they crackled in the dim light.
"I began to tremble at what I was reading."
"Oh, those old books have been sitting around forever. I'll make you a deal on the one you're reading," said the antique dealer.
I gripped the two books like a vise. "I'll take these two," I replied, my voice a bit shaky. I couldn't wait to take them home and practice the arcane instructions on building luck. That was way back in the 1970s.
"I've now distilled that ancient teaching down to the very potent seed you'll need to plant in your mind to make good luck inescapable for you."
Actually, you'll discover that the incredible power of luck is a science. I know you'll think this is unbelievable, but it's true - you can learn how to win with mind-boggling consistency. When would you like to start cashing in?

"How Pictures Give Birth to Reality"
The story you're about to read is like a ghost from the past. Once you diligently apply the awesome science of luck, the pictures you hold in your mind give birth to reality.
I didn't feel lucky at the time. A lot of folks were losing their jobs. I hadn't been able to save much, and working construction up north in January wasn't much fun. The old house I rented howled and whistled all night long. The old wood stove didn't even melt the ice that formed on the inside of the windows. But hey, I had my dreams just like anyone else. If only my luck would change! Maybe you've been there as well - you know, not much money, feeling down on your luck, but there's one thing others can't rip away from you. Yeah, you can always go off by yourself to gaze out the window and dream.
We don't often realize it, but our ability to paint pictures in our mind is like giving birth to a magical genie. At that time, I didn't understand this either. So, probably just like you, I pictured my dream home. Oh, it sat there as pretty as a castle on a hill; just below was a beautiful lake, where I could dock my brand-new boat. I wanted a big fireplace where I could rest after a day on the water and a nice porch where I could sit in my rocking chair watching the sunset. Oh, another thing - I loved the smell of the new hardwood floors. Well, at least I could enjoy my castle in my mind.
I was off work that day. The weatherman said to expect a blizzard, so I wrapped a blanket around me as I read the newspaper and drifted off to sleep, dreaming about my castle. Then, I don't know what the voice was inside my head, but I awoke with a start! My finger was resting on an advertisement in the classified section of the paper. It read, "New home overlooking lake - must sell."
When I called the realtor, he said he took the listing over the phone and hadn't seen the house. "You'd have to be a nut to go out house shopping in a blizzard!" he told me.
But the little voice inside said, "Go!" With the realtor's directions, I found the place - the very place I'd seen so clearly in my mind's eye. It wasn't crowded on the highway; in fact, I was the only 4x4 on the road. I found the realtor at his home and said I had to have this house.
He hesitantly drew up the papers for my ridiculous and embarrassingly low offer, scowling. "This isn't going to do you much good," he said. Then, the realtor called the seller, but it didn't look like they were getting along. "Here, you talk to him! " He handed me the phone.
The seller softened as I listened to his sad story. This new home had been constructed for his mother and himself. She died, and he lost his job. The bank was about to foreclose. "How much you got? " he asked.
"Enough for a down payment," I said. "Look, you sound like a nice guy. I'm in a jam and I'd rather give it to you than the bank. Go ahead and sign the papers and I'll get right over there! "
Well, the storm passed as I stood on the hilltop overlooking the lake. I carried an armload of firewood as I looked at the new boat that had never yet been in the water. Oh, did I forget to tell you what I paid for the castle on the hill with the new, sweet- smelling hardwood floors? 7,500 dollars. Do you want to give birth to a magic genie that can grant all your wishes? Now's the time to change your luck!
What pictures spring spontaneously into your mind? Are they pictures of things you fear, or of things you desire? If you could have any of your heart's desires, which one would it be? Examine that desire very carefully. Do you deeply believe that its fulfillment and attainment would be beneficial now and into the future? Very well then - let's go about creating a photographic mental negative. Once the negative is created, it's just a matter of immersing it in the right mixture of emotional juices for the picture's development...
Here are a few stories from some of our readers about the powerful information in this book!
Hello Peter,
Wasn't that "lucky..." I found a picture worth $4,500 - $5,000 after listening to you on your interview (via the internet audio). You said "after reading the first few pages of your The Awesome Science of Luck book, it would change people. I believe just listening to you explain it in your interview can alter people.
I felt a sense of anticipation after hearing you explain how and what could happen. The very next day (Sunday) was like finding $5,000.00 when I went to the antique appraisal. Page one of the News Item (www.newsitem.com) has the picture of Dr. Lori (well known antique appraiser via television shows and books) holding my picture which I found that next day after listening to Peter's interview. It was from the 1840's -1860's and worth $5,000.00.
I really got lucky! Thanks! Love, Joe Quinn - Coal Township, PA
I won, I won!
I just finished Peters new book, The Awesome Science of Luck on Saturday. Saturday night I went to a benefit and won a DVD player. The very next day I went to another benefit and won a 50/50 raffle. On both wins I had decided to give away the prize before I won. So each time I was detached as to whether I would win or not. This is by far my favorite Peter book!
